As part of its Extension Programme, the Department of English celebrated World Environment Day on June 5, 2023 by creating awareness about the necessity of sustainable development and environmental protection among the students of Government Higher Secondary School Vadakkadathucavu. The degree students Sumana M Sunil, Ancy Mary, Unnimaya B S, Hydher N, Sruthilekshmi C S, Deby Mariam John, Merin Elsa Johnson, Aswathy V Ajayan, Krishnendu, Sneha D R along with their teachers Dr Nisha Mathew and Ms Sowmya Mary conducted the campaign. Saplings were also distributed in the school and in the neighbouring school for Autism.
